Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct thorough custodial services in assigned areas, ensuring that all spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care procedures including stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Assist with residential painting tasks when required to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties in various environments, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
- Engage in industrial cleaning processes as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
- Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and ensuring that common areas are tidy and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with buffing equipment and floor care techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
