Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics, along with the ability to utilize dental software-Dentrix. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct various dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assess patient conditions accurately.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices including oral surgery and prosthodontics.
- Familiarity with dental software-Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
