Machine Operator I – Night Shift

Current Shift: Rotating Weekly Between 4:00 pm – 4:30 am Monday – Thursday and 4:00pm – 4:30 am Monday – Wednesday. Overtime may be required

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The company’s state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking high performance team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude.

Essential Functions

• Setting up and operating machines.
• Read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts.
• Record process settings and part dimensions.
• Make minor adjustments to machine controls.
• Check completed parts to meet quality control standards.
• Perform machine maintenance and repair. Operate forklift, other related machinery.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading tape measure, pressure gauge, level, square and calipers.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment focusing on quality and attention to detail. As well as being able to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Working Conditions

• Works in a Production Shop.
• Exposed daily to continual noise from machines.

• Various machinery.
• Forklift

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit or stand for 10 to 12 hours at a time.
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
