Assembler I / Welder I

Shift: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Thursday Overtime required.

We provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales, and rolls. Our state-of-the-art production facility operates using Lean Manufacturing practices.

We are seeking high-performance team members with a commitment to quality work and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and hardware in a prescribed manner using power or hand tools, testing devices, gauges, and other equipment.
• Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies using welding equipment.
• Understand proper quality weld standards (including slag removal).
• Read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Perform inspection duties for KEITH Quality Control standards by inspecting grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using precision measuring instruments.
• Meet agreed-upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required).
• May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
• Some welding and assembly experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of welding equipment and accessories.
• Able to read tape measure and use precision measurement tools.
• Able to read and follow blueprints.
• Must be comfortable and willing to have varied work that may change each day, potentially several times throughout the day.
• Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
• Lift 25 lbs. repetitively.
• Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
• Exposure to intense light and hot material.

Equipment/Machinery:

• Variety of machinery, grinder, and forklift.
