Job Title: Machinist II - Machine Shop
Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday
Overtime may be required
KEITH Walking Floor Systems provides horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales, and rolls. Our state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities:
- Operate specific machines during machine production; load and unload material or parts from the machine; and make minor adjustments to the machine controls.
- Perform repetitive operations on required machinery in the area.
- Read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts.
- Perform machine maintenance and repair.
- Operate forklift, other related machinery.
- Inspect completed parts to meet quality control standards.
- Meet agreed-upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Minimum 1-year experience.
- Proficient in reading tape measure, pressure gauge, level, square, and calipers.
- Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required).
- Pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug test.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Lift 25 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs.
- Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
Equipment/Machinery Used:
- Various machinery including CNC Machines, Lathes, Grinders, and Forklift.
- Calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools and hand tools.
