Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shop Manager to lead our team at KEITH TITUS CORP GROUP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance service management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and direct staff to achieve exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Performance Management: Supervise and coordinate the scheduling and performance of maintenance services in our NY Shop, ensuring safe, productive, and timely performance of services.
- Staff Oversight: Supervise Internal Service Writers, Parts Manager & Foreman(s), overseeing parts department operations, and evaluating, adding, modifying or deleting shop programs to operational need.
- Weekly Planning and Assignments: Create, manage, and review weekly planning and assignments with Service Writers and Foreman, approving weekly payroll, PTO, conducting performance reviews semi-annually and annually, and reviewing and setting goals with staff.
- Software Optimization: Prioritize and optimize shop software accuracy, utilization, and functionality, holding staff accountable to the same standards.
- Training Program: Oversee training program in the shop for Service Writers, Foremen, Mechanics, and apprentices, supporting/participating in training, continuing education/training programs.
- Customer Interface: Provide professional interface with customers and fellow KTC/Page employees.
- Safety and Compliance: Stays current with industry technology updates where appropriate, knowledgeable and supports Safety, ELD/HOS, DOT & CSA communications with Drivers, and maintains 24/7 access with weekly rotation of after-hour breakdown line.
