CDL Driver Training ProgramJob DetailsJob LocationCorporate Office - Weedsport, NYSalary Range$19.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Shift7AM - 3 : 30PMDescriptionDuties and responsibilitiesContinue classroom and in field training to prepare for CDL A road test.40 hours of classroom theory instruction20 hours at minimum of behind the wheel road instruction20 hours at minimum of observation of road instruction100 hours at minimum of range instruction (consisting of backing Maneuvers and Pre-Trip inspections)Up to 60 hours of additional training and observation.Minimum of 72 hours of on-the-job training with Drivers / TrainersPass CDL A Road Test and acquire CDL A.Utilize the correct PPE for all situations.Understands & preserves Compliance and Safety.Maintain vehicle interior cleanliness (neat & organized)Maintain work area / yard cleanliness and organization.Ride along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions.Regular Attendance & PunctualityQualificationsQualificationsMinimum Class D Driver’s LicenseMust obtain or have an active NYS CDL-A Permit by the end of week 1 of the program.Must have a Clean MVRAbility to work assigned scheduled hours to include driving times.Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to companies drug free workplace policies.
