Job purpose
Oversee and ensure Company owned fleet units are optimized when in Service and ready to be optimized when not in service ensuring efficient operations and compliance. Manage unit performance information with user engagement to effectively make repairs, replace or retire decisions related to assets in the Companys best interest
Duties and responsibilities

Manage Repair, Replace or Retire of fleet units
- Evaluate unit performance monthly revenue generation, downtime/uptime, repair expense, etc.
- Analyze fleet data and identify trends and areas for improvement or cost savings.
- Budget for fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and fuel
- Evaluate unit performance monthly revenue generation, downtime/uptime, repair expense, etc.
- Engage/negotiate with vendors for new equipment purchases source, spec, and track orders of equipment.
- Engage peer Managers to affect positive change with equipment utilization, costs, downtime, and/or other measures of a fleet units value
- Safety Director
- Terminal managers/VP Ops
- Risk Manager/Driver Manager
- Manage Staff (Maintenance Managers & Special Projects)
- Accountability around core processes of PM, DVIR & Breakdown internal & external
- Accurate information for reporting decisions
- Promote growth and advancement
- Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures

Manage fleet inventory
- Ensure accurate spec, warranty and location information on Company owned units in TMT
- Proficient in TMW, Transman and Motive
- Manage tracking program and additional fleet subscriptions
- Manage unit movements
- Ensure fleet operations adhere to relevant safety standards and regulations to include promoting a strong safety culture within the fleet.
- Ride along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions

Qualifications
- Data analytics experience and proficiency
- 10 plus years of relevant industry experience
- 10 years of management/leadership experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Presentation skills
- Team oriented
- Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to companies drug free workplace policies
