Job Title : Refrigeration Technician Department : Service
Reports to : Service Manager Effective Date : 10 / 2024
Classification : Full time, non-exempt
Job Summary :
The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing and repairing new and used refrigeration units onto trailers.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Installs new refrigeration units in a timely and proficient manner
- Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems to identify malfunctions and determine repairs
- Perform all levels of maintenance and repair services on various brands of refrigeration units.
- Maintains accurate records of repairs, parts used at the time of repair
- Keeps shop and shop equipment organized and clean and workspace free of clutter
- Communicate effectively with service team and coworkers
- Participates in training and continued education opportunities provided by the company
- Employees are required to be on a rotation Service Call schedule
- Employee must be at work during scheduled hours and demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance
- Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor
