Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food management practices, and customer service skills.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring all aspects of food production are executed flawlessly.
- Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a culinary or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, inventory control, and food production processes.
- Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is preferred.
