Essential Functions
• Fully understand and implement all policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain operational excellence.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, ensuring they receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
• Ensure food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes and standards for quality and presentation.
• Drive company objectives in sales, service, quality, and cleanliness by training staff and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
• Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures to control cash and receipts in line with company policies.
• Participate in employment and termination decisions with the General Manager's approval.
• Fill in as needed to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Continuously develop staff in managerial and professional skills to enhance team performance.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules, in an organized and timely manner.
• Conduct personal inspections to ensure equipment cleanliness and functionality, following preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee the receiving process to ensure products arrive in the correct unit count and condition.Ensure timely performance appraisals for staff are conducted according to restaurant policies.
• Schedule labor based on anticipated business activity to meet staffing needs and labor cost objectives.
• Enforce restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer fair corrective action for policy violations.
• Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements.
• Function as a front-of-house expeditor during peak times while providing back-of-house leadership.
• Provide insights and suggestions to the General Manager to support overall operational success."
