What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal Clerk position at Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP?
This is an entry-level position to support the Paralegal group. Paralegal Clerks ("P-clerks") are often interested in pursuing a career in the legal field, either as paralegals or attorneys. A demonstrated interest in the legal field, specifically in litigation, is preferred. This position is mostly project-based, providing exposure to many different types of tasks across various types of cases.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a team player who works well with others
- Assist paralegals with an array of tasks, including organization of case materials and preparation of binders
- Assist on multiple cases, different tasks and subject matter while balance competing priorities
- Coordinate work with paralegals, other staff, and occasionally outside vendors
- Perform additional duties as required

The salary range for this California based role is $68,000 to $72,000 annually and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
