Role Description
The Project Architect will manage projects to ensure they meet budget, scheduling, scope, and quality objectives. The role involves :
Overseeing the completion of plans, specifications, and materials approval
Assisting Project Managers on multiple projects in various stages of development
Organizing and coordinating construction document sets
Performing code research and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes
Ensuring constructability and adherence to architectural standards
Coordinating with clients and consultants for accurate and timely completion of construction documents
Participating in all aspects of construction administration (both in-office and on-site)
Providing training and mentorship to Designers
Potentially supervising a small team of Architects and Designers
Required Hard Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university
Professional Licensure required (NC Architectural Registration preferred)
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience
Proficiency in Revit (required)
Strong knowledge of building codes and ability to conduct code research
Experience in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software
Demonstrated experience in project design, production, and coordination of construction documents
Experience managing client and consultant relationships
