Description : POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance / Grounds Keeper is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and overall appearance of the residential property and grounds. This role ensures that the environment is safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance / Grounds Keeper will perform various tasks related to building maintenance, landscaping, and facility management. The Maintenance / Grounds Keeper person will work to create a pleasant and functional environment for residents and visitors at our 3 IRAs.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in facilities maintenance, landscaping, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in maintenance or groundskeeping (landscaping certification or HVAC certification) are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of groundskeeping and maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment.
• familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping and maintenance equipment safely.
