Description
The Licensed Psychologist at Kelberman is part of a therapeutic team and is primarily responsible for identifying and diagnosing developmental and behavioral issues in children, adolescents, and adults. The Licensed Psychologist assesses various domains of an individual's functioning, utilizing various assessment tools, and analyzes evaluation outcomes to aid in gaining diagnostic clarity and inform treatment planning for individuals. The Licensed Psychologist may also engage in the development and implementation of treatment plans through the provision of behaviorally based therapeutic modalities, as well as provide supervision for Master's level clinicians and undergraduate / graduate students in training, as well as engage in research related activities.
Compensation : $85,000 to $95,000 annually
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Activities include but are not limited to the following :
- Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological and neuropsychological assessment measures (e.g., intelligence, social-communication skills, personality, behavior, educational achievement, vocational interests, and adaptive functioning).
- Complete detailed documentation and evaluation reports, per appropriate agency and regulatory standards that summarize the assessment process and key findings, as well as provide recommendations to assist in treatment planning and service eligibility requirements for individuals.
- Summarize assessment findings and recommendations directly with patients and families.
- Provide individual or group therapy if agreed upon by the provider, Clinic Director, and Chief Clinical Officer, to include development of treatment plan and goals per agency and regulatory standards.
- Provide long-term follow-up care for patients and families as appropriate.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Master's level clinicians (e.g., LMSW)
- Provide clinical supervision and training to undergraduate, graduate, and / or medical students, as well as pre- and post-doctoral interns.
- Develop and implement trainings for agency staff, student interns, and community partners when appropriate.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team as appropriate and necessary for programmatic needs.
- Collaborate with the clinical team regarding referral review, scheduling of patients, review and revision of programmatic policies and procedures as requested and appropriate.
- Participate in 1 : 1 meetings with the Clinic Director, regularly clinical operations meetings, and departmental meetings as scheduled.
- Initiate, participate in, and disseminate research projects that align with best-practice and ethical standards, in agreement with the Chief Clinical Officer.
- Maintain positive communication between supervisors and employees.
- Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and Agency regulations and operating standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
