Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative, with the opportunity to become a Licensed Insurance Agent. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries or concerns for each customer's insurance policy. You’ll establish office policies, implement filing systems, and make sure clients’ insurance paperwork can be processed faster, ensuring policyholders get the coverage they need as quickly as possible. Another duty of this job will be to communicate to each customer before their renewal to ensure that we have the most up to date and accurate information. This job as a CSR will report to and be under the supervision of the office manager. You must be highly organized and have strong communication skills. This role is an opportunity to grow your management skills and help our clients invest in the things that matter most to them.
A Mississippi Insurance license is required in order to solicit, sell and/or endorse policies; however, this will not be required on day one, and the agency will provide all resources available for you to obtain your license.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and establish policies that allow the company to operate to it's fullest potential
- Create and manage the company portfolio to identify company progress
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email to ensure their needs are met
- Analyze customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our management system
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or quote leads
- Assist with sales efforts by promoting services to customers
- Handle daily office duties and tasks to keep a clean and efficient workplace
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have exceptional time management skills
- Previous experience in customer service or related field required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
