Key Duties for the Landscaping Sales and Design Consultant:
- Engage with clients and prospects through on-site visits to promote Keller Caretaking’s offerings.
- Gather insights into client aspirations during initial consultations.
- Develop and record tailored landscape designs that reflect client preferences and financial plans.
- Calculate costs for materials and workforce needs.
- Assemble comprehensive proposal packages and lead client presentation discussions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of landscape installation projects.
- Procure supplies and arrange plant selections to fulfill project specifications.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cultivate new client connections, nurture ongoing relationships, and contribute to creative marketing efforts.
Qualifications for the Landscaping Sales and Design Consultant:
- Comfortable using technology and relevant software tools.
- Over 5 years of sales experience, ideally in landscaping, construction, or similar fields.
- Skilled at interpreting and analyzing site plans.
- Awareness of applicable local and regional regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated talent for securing sales and fostering enduring client connections.
- At least 3 years managing teams and overseeing projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with horticulture, landscape creation, and building techniques.
- Capable of guiding teams, assigning tasks, and supervising multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working understanding of material and labor cost estimation.
- Established history of successfully pitching services to prospective clients.
