Licensed Veterinary Technician - SEASONAL

• Licensed Veterinary Technician

• Seasonal work from April 2025 through May 2025
• Assist the KCAL Instructor in classroom setting with teaching veterinary technical skills
• Supervise LVT students as they practice hands-on learning experiences
• Serve as a mentor for students; provide LVT expertise and instruction to individual students
• Provide a safe environment for all students
• Assist in supporting the rules, regulations, and safety of the facility
• Prevent accidents through the enforcement of policies, regulations, and ordinances governing the conduct of persons
• Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner
• Complete an incident report for all accidents and injuries
• Enforce and adhere to all rules and regulations
• Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not acceptable to KCAL Instructor immediately
• Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs
• Maintain, file, and secure all physical and computerized reports, records, and other required documents
• Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive, courteous, and respectful
• Maintain confidentiality
• Comply and implement all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives
