We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our lobbying and government relations teams. This senior-level position will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple teams of lobbyists and attorneys working on state and federal advocacy campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate teams of lobbyists and attorneys across state and federal projects
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of advocacy campaigns
- Lead regular team meetings and coordinate cross-functional collaboration
- Produce and present weekly reports and updates to executive leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for critical project issues and provide timely resolution
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Travel domestically as needed to support team operations and client engagements
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
- Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

- Understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at state and federal levels
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to lobbying activities
- Experience managing remote teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and complex projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing professionals
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or MPA)
- Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm
- Salary range: $250,000 - $300,000 (variable dependent upon experience)
- Discretionary performance-based bonus
