Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on construction sites. The Crane Operator will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols while performing tasks related to lifting and transporting heavy loads.
Duties
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads as required on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate lifting operations effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communication.
- Monitor load weights and ensure compliance with safety regulations to prevent overloading.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist in the training of new operators or team members as needed.
- During non-crane activities crane operator is required to fill in and assist where needed.
- Ensure that all operations comply with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Up to date NCCCO Certification for RT Cranes, Latt Boom Crawler, Large Hydraulic Crane, Small Hydraulic Crane
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly crane operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with various types of equipment is preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise maneuvering of loads.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and regulations in a construction environment.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
