Driver/Warehouse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role combines warehouse duties with driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, and flatbeds for deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload goods in a warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management within the warehouse.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery such as forklifts and tow trucks.
• Assist with moving items as needed within the warehouse or during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a driver is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to moving and logistics operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
