Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, and flatbeds for deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload goods in a warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management within the warehouse.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery such as forklifts and tow trucks.
- Assist with moving items as needed within the warehouse or during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a driver is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to moving and logistics operations.
