OVERVIEW OF JOB
The Regional Operations Manager is the operations and talent management leader for all members of a regional team and ensures service delivery in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations. This individual is directly responsible for the financial, operational, talent management, and other objectives that are set forth for the Region. You will lead a team of Operations Managers and drive the customer service experience by measuring and analyzing performance metrics in alignment with key company objectives centered on exceptional service, customer retention, and quality assurance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES FOR REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Oversees office-based team regarding account management, internal processes, performance metrics, ensuring all Company and functional policies, as well as standard operating procedures, are adhered to
- Meets and coaches’ team on key company objectives outlined by management, including clearly defined expectations, assigning work/tasks appropriately and ensuring that progress toward goals/objectives is being made
- Analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborates with various internal teams to deliver measurable solutions
- Ensure all contracts are executed correctly
- Supports and executes the calendar of events from preseason preparations through postseason shutdown for landscape and snow
- Increases project completion percentages for all exterior services accounts
- Manages customer issues as they arise during day-to-day operations
- Support business development growth by assessing potential customer needs and presenting operations process and value to potential customers
- Support and balance vendor sourcing to unify and increase the profitability of periodic service accounts and other accounts with projects
- Facilitates new account rollout
- Facilitates software integrations between customer portals/user interfaces and the KBS IT department
- Collaborates with other departments to identify procedural issues and trends
- Some travel is required, as directed by the Director of Operations, Exterior Services
- Works with Director of Operations on performance management issues

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Landscape and Snow industry experience is a plus
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, listening, and conflict management skills
- Possesses adaptability, resourcefulness, ability to navigate varying requests, and stress tolerance
- Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Possesses strong mathematical skills, ability to analyze and disseminate data, and create reports
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
- Superior attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and editing skills
- Demonstrates superior time management skills, including sensitivity to urgent matters
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times
- Ability to follow appropriate safety guidelines
- Demonstrates ability to be flexible, prioritize tasks and responsibilities, and complete duties and projects within the allotted time
- Able to respond to change productively and to handle additional tasks and projects as assigned
- Through actions and example, ensures that KBS values are fully incorporated into company customer and vendor interactions
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Minimum of 3 years of prior management and leadership experience; within the landscaping/snow industry a plus
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel
