Job Overview
Salary Range : $65-70K
This position is a remote opportunity.
Candidate must live on the East Coast and be on EST.
Position Summary
Works to ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Processes workers
compensation claims and approves claim settlements within defined level of authority. Evaluates accident
reports to determine accuracy and completeness. Ensures that adequate investigations are conducted.
Provides high-level analysis regarding risk management based on claims data. Works closely with field
managers to improve workers’ compensation results, including loss prevention and claims management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Legal adherence
- Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements by being knowledgeable of existing and
new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements and advising management on needed
actions
Claims Processing and management
Case Management to improve outcome
and closures of workers’ compensation claims
Safety and loss prevention analysis, training and risk mitigation
and help create tactics to mitigate future liability
Regulatory documentation and reporting
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Experience Required :
Fluency in Spanish
Safety and workers compensation background
HR experience a plus
2-4 years direct experience managing workers compensation claims
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Risk Management-related field or equivalent experience
