Branch Office Customer Service Staff
General Purpose:
Act as a payment center for the collection of past due and/or current Excise bills and Parking Tickets owed to City/Towns that we represent.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude when assisting taxpayer.
Identifying problems or issues and marking them in notes so other K&R staff are aware. Resolve issues if possible or instruct taxpayer where they can call to receive resolution.
Collect money/credit cards for payment and the ability to make change or process card.
Ability to prepare daily deposit for bank and make deposit.
Keep station summary of daily payments.
Maintain a balanced drawer.
Answer Incoming Phone Calls to Customer Service Lines.
Hours are reflected by the location of office, whether it is a City Hall or RMV.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in computer skills
Knowledge of Customer Service principles and practices
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work alone in stressful situations
Comfortable handling money and credit cards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
