Position Summary:
A Project Coordinator reports to the Chief Financial Officer assisting project managers with the operations involved in the successful completion of a particular project.
Job Duties:
- Meeting with the project team to understand all vital aspects of the job.
- Prepare and submit contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders for the project.
- Ensure compliance of the owner and subcontractors regarding insurance and required documentation.
- Oversees the billing process within the agreed upon terms of the contract.
- Assist with specific project tasks as directed by the project manager (such as Change Events, RFI logs, Submittal logs, etc.).
- Maintains electronic document retention records.
- Weekly review of projects regarding budget and forecasting.
- Assist with project closeout.
- Provide support to project manager and project team as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of construction software management tools (Procore/Sage 300) helpful, or ability to learn.
- Outstanding and professional oral and written communication and people skills.
- Meticulous.
- Strong financial skills necessary.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
The ability to focus and perform detailed paperwork for long durations of time. Sitting and standing in an office environment.
