About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Liquor Store Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized store, and ensure that all products are properly stocked and labeled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their queries, and assisting them in finding products
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a high level of cash handling integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized store by ensuring that shelves, displays, and storage areas are tidy and well-organized
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced, and that inventory levels are monitored and restocked as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied
- Comply with all state and federal laws regarding the sale of alcohol
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Capable of lifting boxes (25 lbs), stocking shelves, and standing for long periods
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a liquor license
