We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or residential care facilities. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with memory care needs or dementia.
- Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks as needed.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, nursing home settings, or memory care preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients safely.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training is preferred but not required; willingness to undergo training is essential.
