Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, particularly those with memory care needs or dementia.
Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks as needed.
Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.

Requirements

Previous experience in long-term care, nursing home settings, or memory care preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
