We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home and to appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of outpatient care practices, particularly in settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine protocols, including PICU or Level II Trauma Center standards is a plus.
- Ability to provide medical-surgical assistance for clients requiring more intensive care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Must possess patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but can be obtained post-hire.
