Work Schedule
This part-time regular role works year-round Monday through Thursday, 1 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. during the academic year, Monday through Thursday, 12 : 00 p.
m. to 5 : 00 p.m. during other periods. Flexibility for extended hours and / or Fridays are expected, as needed by the Center or College.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following See job duties below. Position Summary The Center Assistant provides administrative support to department management, faculty, staff, and students.
They perform reception duties, prepare documents and reports, and respond to inquiries.
This part-time role, reporting to the Center Director, is assigned at Kellogg Community College’s Grahl Center campus located in Coldwater, Michigan.

The job has intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as independent mobility between work areas, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward (8 45 pounds).
Typically requires regular use of one or more physical senses of medium intensity and long duration. Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy, and may be involved in some mildly unpleasant situations. Minimum Qualifications
Some post-secondary education from an accredited college or university AND at least one (1 ) year of relevant experience;
OR two or more (2 ) years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work with MS Office, most especially Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar level applications at an intermediate level.
- Ability to arrange meetings and coordinate facility events.
Preferred but not Required
Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
Proposed Salary According to the published support staff salary schedule, Classification Pay Grade 12, 2024-2025 hourly wage range, step one $18.
09 to step six $23.92. Internal applicants may refer to Article 22, Section 5C.
