Based in Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL, we want your expertise to lead small to medium projects and assist on large projects. With your help, we’ll develop new products and improve product quality, productivity and capacity. You’ll assist in inventing new products from ideation through scale-up and enhance existing offerings through value transformations savings and more. - Driving Business Growth – Create and coordinate key projects while giving general direction to assigned teams in accomplishing projects on technical and scientific investigation or developments. We’ll look to you to make tough calls – and see your vision become a reality!

You’ll move us toward success by giving general direction to assigned cross-functional teams in accomplishing projects on scientific and technical investigation or developments.

- Fostering Creativity – Provide inventive, timely, and cost-effective improvements, concepts and developments as you apply scientific insights and understanding to new or existing products or processes.
- Sharing Technical Expertise – Use your leadership and expertise within the department as an expert in a specific discipline, keeping current with the latest developments and technology through investigation, training, and communication with top influencers in your area of expertise.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Owner’s mindset and entrepreneurial spirit!
- Bachelor of Science degree in science, engineering or a related field and strong relevant experience
- Proven track record of leadership, business acumen, clear communication, and diplomacy
- Effective execution of projects and ability to operate with minimal supervision on Food Designer required capabilities
- Your project management experience will enable you to successfully oversee low to medium complexity sustaining projects involving product relocations, flavor extensions, renovations, etc.
- Your experience with ingredients, flavors, and emerging technology development in food industries will be an asset here!
- MSc in food science or a related discipline with relevant work experience in a related role
