What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Advocate position at Kellogg Garden Products?
- The primary objective of this role is to increase sales of Kellogg branded items, by assisting customers with their soil purchases.
- Advocates will work in assigned Home Depot stores during peak selling seasons.
- Stock Kellogg displays and assist customers with general gardening projects.
- Must be outgoing, friendly, and a good listener.
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to become knowledgeable of all company products and sales procedures.
- Ability to proactively and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Achieve sales goals established by management.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
- Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 6.0 or later) with data.
- Outdoor work environment.

Expected hours: 15.00 per week
