Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and oversee the entire accounting function. This role will manage a team of 10 accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and operational efficiency. As a key member of the executive team, the Controller will work closely with the finance team to support strategic decision-making, optimize financial processes, and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic planning.
- Provide financial insights to executive leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 8 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably in the service industry.
- Proven ability to lead and develop large accounting teams (10 direct reports).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with executive leadership.

Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
