Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Work closely with the Controller to streamline accounting processes and implement efficiencies.
- Assist with audits by preparing the necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems to analyze and report financial data (experience with Oracle is a plus).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (knowledge of Oracle is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
