Manteo Retail Associate
Position Title: Retail Associate
Employee Classification: Hourly
Supervised By: Operations Manager / Manager
Primary Responsibility: Maintain Retail Operations
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the store. Engage customers and assist in product procurement and possible alternatives if needed - suggest tools, fasteners, and accessories needed to complete job at hand.
- Complete retail transactions quickly and accurately per company policy.
- Maintain “Policy A” and Store Use transactions.
- Process vendor returns as needed.
- Maintain the orderly stock of retail merchandise. Pull down top stock and warehouse inventory to keep retail shelves and pegs full, fronted, and faced.
- Order any supplies needed for Retail Operations. (Labels, bags, office supplies, pegs, etc.)
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking of the DoItBest, Orgill, and (other assigned product categories) in the retail store.
- Maintain current pricing labels on all product in the store. Every product should be priced with a clean current label.
- Maintain the merchandise’s product location in the Eagle Inventory system.
- Perform assigned cycle counts of the retail store.
- Mix and shake paint as needed.
- Assist with Retail Operations Reports as requested – NQOH, SOQOH, Open Orders, etc. Opening and closing of the retail store each day, including the End of Day Closing Report/Cash Balancing.
- Primary answering of incoming phone calls at the cashier’s station.
- All other job-related activities assigned by Store Manager
Salary : $16 - $18
