Kellanova is looking for a Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager for the Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit. This person will own brand and portfolio management for our Sweet Snacking portfolio, which includes two of our top brands : Pop-Tarts and Rice Krispies Treats. This Chicago-land hybrid role partners cross-functionally with leaders in AFH to be the strategic marketing voice both internally and externally.
As a part of the Away From Home Marketing Team, you will shape our success in the Food Service and Small Format channels. This business services 20 segments in a highly complex route-to-market. Your consumer expertise in immediate consumption, coupled with a brand-building DNA, plays a critical role in our journey to excellence.
A Taste of What Youll Be Doing
- Deliver Results Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the categories you manage with appropriate top and bottom-line goal setting. Develop annual brand and category business plans focused on maximizing net sales and operating profit.
- Drive Portfolio Growth Oversee brand management activities for your portfolio, including commercializing both innovation & renovation projects, identifying product and packaging improvement opportunities, leading SKU rationalization and margin improvement projects, and driving brand and product prioritization.
- Achieve Business Excellence & Financial Health Perform ongoing business analysis and reporting. Understand key drivers for the brand / channel through financial knowledge of the SKUs and work with Financial Planning to review SKU margins / costs against KPIs. Build a research and knowledge agenda in coordination with Insights and Commercial Strategy partners.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration Manage critical portfolio projects with a cross-functional team. You will work in collaboration with key partners including Insights, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales Excellence, and others to build and execute your strategies.

The annual salary range is $139,000 - $182,385, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
