The selected Tableau Consultant will work with a dedicated three-person team to design, implement, and train the use of Tableau dashboards and reports. This involves installing and configuring Tableau, integrating diverse data sources, creating accessible and visually impactful dashboards, and providing comprehensive training to ensure team independence in using Tableau post-engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Tableau Installation and Configuration
- Install and configure Tableau Desktop on designated systems in collaboration with A&F IT personnel.
- Ensure Tableau connects seamlessly with diverse data sources (data warehouse, Excel files, and other systems).
Dashboard and Report Development
- Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs.
- Design and build interactive, accessible dashboards that meet the needs of both technical and non-technical users.
- Apply expert data visualization techniques to deliver clear and insightful reports.
Data Integration and Automation
- Establish automated data connections to refresh dashboards using integrated data sources.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
Training and Knowledge Transfer
- Deliver hands-on training to team members on report creation and data visualization best practices.
- Empower the team to independently maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and provide regular updates.
- Conduct demonstrations and incorporate feedback to ensure dashboards align with expectations.
Documentation
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including step-by-step guides for dashboard creation, customization, and troubleshooting.
Deliverables
- Installation and configuration of Tableau.
- Creation of accessible dashboards and reports tailored for diverse user groups.

Required Qualifications
- 7 years of Tableau experience with a strong portfolio of data visualization projects.
- Proficiency in data integration from Excel, data warehouses, and databases.
- Demonstrated experience in training and knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical teams.
- Expertise in creating accessible dashboards and reports (examples required during the interview process).
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
