Position: Digital Media Planner
Mode: Long-Term Temporary (Ongoing)
Location: Remote (East and Central Time Zones Only)
Position Overview
The Digital Media Planner will be responsible for managing full-cycle digital media campaigns, including campaign brief development, media planning, execution, optimization, reporting, and analysis. The role requires strong experience in paid digital advertising across Meta, TikTok, and Google, with a focus on performance-driven strategies and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Execute Digital Media Campaigns
- Research and assess media plan options based on campaign objectives
- Develop and edit content for digital campaigns
- Gather ad specifications, collect creative assets, and release assets to partners/vendors
- Execute A/B testing and ensure quality assurance of ad creative
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate, implement, and maintain media plans
- Troubleshoot technical and performance issues
- Manage day-to-day campaign execution and optimize performance based on KPIs
- Participate in ad hoc projects to expand College Board's digital advertising efforts
Analyze & Report on Campaign Performance
- Collect data for post-campaign reporting and provide insights, highlights, and recommendations
- Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies with analytics tools and partners/vendors
- Analyze data creatively to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach target audiences
Operational & Vendor Management Support
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate contracts
- Process new contracts and revisions in the management system
- Maintain and update monthly campaign schedules to ensure projects remain on track
Required Qualifications
- 7 years post-graduate experience in digital media planning & operations
- Ad agency experience preferred (strong corporate digital advertising experience will be considered)
- Proven experience in placing digital ads on Meta, TikTok, and Google
- Strong understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile, and video ad units
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative writing skills (writing samples required in the interview)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics Suite or Google Analytics
- Experience with Salesforce or Omni-cloud marketing platforms preferred
