Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Admin with EKS expertise to join our team in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and managing the MuleSoft platform, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance of APIs while leveraging Amazon EKS for container orchestration. The role demands expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes to automate and manage infrastructure as code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Gateway, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize MuleSoft environments on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Implement Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure automation and container orchestration.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the MuleSoft platform.
- Monitor and troubleshoot MuleSoft applications, APIs, and integrations to maintain system health.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to implement best practices.
- Manage API security, role-based access control (RBAC), and integration governance.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools to enhance efficiency.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and system upgrades.
- Provide support for disaster recovery and incident management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9 years of experience in MuleSoft Administration and API management.
- Strong expertise in Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including CloudHub and API Manager.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and role-based access control (RBAC) in cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot API and integration issues effectively.
- Experience in scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certification (MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or Administrator).
- AWS Certifications related to Kubernetes (AWS Certified Kubernetes Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect).
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
