Job Description :
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer with 7 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem and software quality assurance. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of various Salesforce projects by developing and executing comprehensive QA processes.
The Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of functional and performance testing for Salesforce applications used by multiple business units within the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The role primarily involves manual testing with some automated testing to enhance efficiency. The candidate will work closely with the Salesforce project team to define, develop, execute, and automate test plans and test cases .
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at handling competing priorities within tight deadlines . They must also be comfortable sharing knowledge and collaborating with the team to enhance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios .
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations .
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new enhancements do not impact existing functionality.
- Review test results and validate conformance to system design.
- Serve as a subject matter specialist , ensuring defect-free software delivery.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager .
- Perform black box and white box testing , load testing , and integrated systems testing .
- Conduct database content testing and validate multiple interfaces, including SOA and Web Services .
- Be available for standby duty and overtime , if required, to resolve critical system problems or perform production maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to overall quality assurance strategy and participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
