Title: Local Clinical Specialist
Duration: Long term contract
Pay rate: $45/hr
Location: Cambridge City and Tipton, Indiana
Must at least hold an LPN license or RN license.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Provide onsite point of care services such asvaccinations and testing. Follow all agency and division policies andprocedures relating to safety, infection control, documentation, andeligibility. Document and reportconcerns as directed to agency leadership.
Maintain proficiency in all related nursingskills. Complete all required trainings and in-services and maintain all required licensure and certifications.
Maintain confidentiality of all patients.
Complete required documentation related to allaspects of care provided.
Document findings and submit reports withinrequired timeframes.
Attend required staff and Division meetings.
Job Requirements
Must at least hold an LPN license or RN license.
Must be knowledgeable ininfection control practices, vaccinations, point of care testing, andphlebotomy.
Will travel to various locations in Indiana and assist inthe operation of mobile clinics
Specialized knowledge of principles ofnursing practice and standards of care;
Ability to work without onsite clinical supervision
Knowledge of nursing procedures and the ability to work in a variety of settings
Ability to identify potential adverse healthand safety conditions;
Ability to utilize computer equipment and software to enter, retrieve and manipulate data;
Must hold and maintain a Valid Indiana’sDriver’s License;
Ability and willingness to work before andafter standard work hours, including on weekends;
Professional demeanor and ability to maintaincomposure under stressful situations;
Commitment to the public health mission ofprotecting the health, safety, rights, privacy, and well-being of residents inlong term care facilities;
