Position: Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote
Terms: Contract to Hire
Visa: Must be able to convert after 6 months
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer with a solid background in Java or C# development. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive expertise in Salesforce technologies, particularly Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Omni-Channel, and Apex custom development. This role requires a developer proficient in both declarative configuration and Lightning components, with robust experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems.
Key Responsibilities:
6 years’ experience in Salesforce declarative and custom Apex development
• Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement Apex, Lightning components, Flows, and other Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Utilize Salesforce’s configuration capabilities, such as creating custom reports, dashboards, workflows, and validation rules.
• Understands and can apply Objects, Fields, Page Layouts, Console Apps, Lightning Pages, Actions, Flows, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, Queues, Assignment Rules, Email to Case, Milestones/SLAs, Omni-channel.
• Integration Expertise: Implement Salesforce data integration patterns, effectively synchronizing data between Salesforce and external systems.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Agile Methodologies: Actively support and participate in agile development methodologies, engaging in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated solutions that drive business value.
• Communication: Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, clearly articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support during testing and deployment phases, and ensuring the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.
• CI/CD Implementation: Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Salesforce using industry best practices.
Agile Environment:
• Work within an agile development framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Prioritize and manage workload effectively to deliver high-quality solutions within sprint timelines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the development team.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with proficiency in Java or C# development.
• A minimum of 6 years of Salesforce declarative and custom development experience
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Omni-Channel, and custom development using Apex.
• Strong competency in declarative configuration and Lightning components.
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data integration patterns and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within agile teams and manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and skills to assist where needed.
• Strong management and organization skills
• Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve problem situations using strong judgement and high-level decision-making skills.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and with others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
