About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional support to our customers and ensure their needs are met with the highest level of care.
Essential Functions
- Receive / enter customer orders & post shipments
- Responsible for communications between the customer, scheduling, production, & shipping
- Arrange customer delivery time
- Write quotes & enter specifications into computer system
- Maintain customer files
- Interact with customers by phone, email and in-person to receive orders, cancellations, or to clarify needs / requirements
- Communicate changes, delays, and requests, to customers or other departments as appropriate
- Coordinate complaints received from customers concerning billing or product delivered.
- Maintain hard copy files in an organized manner, allowing for quick retrieval of documents & information when required.
- Minimal travel on occasion to visit customer facilities
- Cross Train in other functional areas
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Minimum requirements : 1 year’s customer service responsibility in a manufacturing environment working extensively with customers. Will be trained in manufacturing knowledge of industry and processes.
