QC Chemist
Dallas / Fort Worth, TX
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking a QC Chemist for one of our top testing laboratories in the DFW area. As a QC Chemist, you will be responsible for QC testing within FDA and cGMP regulated environment.
Job Details :
- Responsible for providing services to other departments (Production, R&D, QA, Engineering)
- Testing of raw materials, bulk products, finished products, and stability samples
- Testing of liquids, tablets and capsules for dietary supplements, medical foods, and pharmaceutical drug products
- Testing of R&D samples
- Validation testing, both expanded process validation testing and method validation testing
- pH meter, HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, FT-IR spectrophotometer, GC, TOC monitor, viscometer, pycnometer, ovens, sieve analysis tester and particle size analyzer
- Performs maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Responsible for the proper handling, inventory control, processing or analysis of narcotics and other controlled substances
- Adhered to company SOPs, 21 CFR part 11 and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
- Promotes cGMP, safety and product quality in all routine operations
- Document record data and review
- Write and / or update SOPs for new analytical methods or equipment
- Coordinate calibration or maintenance equipment when necessary
- Comply with all safety policies and regulations
- Adhere to all laboratory requirements in accordance with SOPs and regulatory practices such as GMPs, GDPs, GLPs and OSHA regulations
