Facilities and Maintenance Technician

Kelly Express Mart – Janitorial and Maintenance Site Tender

This position will be outside during the spring and summer months. Site tender would move to inside responsibilities during the winter. Position reports to the Director of Facilities during the Summer and Senior Retail Director during the winter.

This position would be responsible for the 15 locations performing the duties listed above. All Exterior duties will be 8’ height or less. This person should take pride in their work, be responsible, a self-starter, and have time management skills. Company will provide all tools, work vehicle, work uniform.

Spring and Summer Responsibilities Outside

1. Pressure Washing – fuel positions, canopy poles, under canopy concrete, sidewalks, curbs.

2. Fuel Pump Cleaning- wiping down pumps, side panels, valance

3. Weed control – Pop up weeds, weed and weed control

4. Painting – Curbs, canopy poles, parking lines

5. Garbage – parking lot debris and property lines.

Winter Months -Inside (Andrea)

1. Interior painting

2. Restroom floor, grout, and tile cleaning

3. Help with snow removal from sidewalks, under canopy etc

4. Dusting

5. Fuel Pump Cleaning

6. Kitchen Floor and Wall Cleaning

Skills and Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required

Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

Good physical condition and strength with a desire to work

Physical Conditions:

Includes long periods of standing, crouching, kneeling, and bending.

Must be able to lift to 30-50lbs repetitively

Must be able to work indoors/outdoors, depending on weather conditions
