Kelly Kreation LLC is seeking a highly organized, professional, and friendly Front Receptionist / Manager to join our team. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our salon, as you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will assist with managing the front desk and salon staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service & Reception
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer phones, manage appointments, and assist with client inquiries, both in-person and over the phone.
- Provide information about services, pricing, and promotions to clients.
- Handle check-in/check-out processes, including payment processing and invoicing.
- Maintain client records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date in the system.
- Appointment Scheduling & Calendar Management
- Schedule and confirm client appointments, ensuring accurate booking and minimal schedule conflicts.
- Coordinate with salon staff to ensure timely service delivery and proper staffing for appointments.
- Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed, while enforcing the salon's cancellation policy.
- Staff Coordination & Support
- Act as a liaison between clients and the salon team to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Assist in managing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for peak times.
- Provide administrative support to salon staff, including tracking product orders, inventory, and organizing staff breaks.
- Support training and development of new staff members to maintain high standards of service.
- Salon Operations & Organization
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with product ordering and inventory management to ensure that retail products are available and displayed appropriately.
- Help with maintaining salon cleanliness and general upkeep of public areas.
- Monitor the salon’s appointment book to prevent overbooking or double-booking.
- Customer Relations & Upselling
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and anticipating their needs.
- Promote and upsell salon products and services to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Address client concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to the salon owner or manager if needed.
- Ensure clients leave with a positive impression of the salon and are encouraged to return.
- Financial & Administrative Duties
- Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.
- Manage the daily cash drawer and assist with sales reports as needed.
- Assist with tracking daily, weekly, and monthly salon sales metrics.
- Maintain and update client files and other administrative records as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role (preferably in a beauty or salon setting).
- Experience in managing appointments, customer relations, and handling cash or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and team members.
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using salon booking software, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Personal Attributes:

- Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule:
- Hours: Full-time position, 30-40 hours per week. Flexibility is required, as the schedule will include weekday and weekend shifts (Monday – Saturday).
