Job Summary
">Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of a brand-new manufacturing facility in Bergen County, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-end machining environments and building strong teams from the ground up.
">About the Role
">- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational rollout, coordinating manufacturing initiatives, and overseeing daily production activities to achieve high-quality output and on-time delivery.
- They will also monitor manufacturing costs, expenses, and budget adherence to maximize efficiency, develop staffing plans, and oversee production schedules and workflow processes.
- Furthermore, they will track inventory, materials usage, and waste reduction initiatives to drive cost savings, implement lean manufacturing principles, and coordinate with Engineers and additional team members to establish best practices for assembly, automation, and quality control.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing in a manufacturing environment with ISO and Lean manufacturing experience required.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on leadership qualities, be able to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on efficiency and continuous improvement, and provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to production teams.
- Additionally, they should have experience in cost tracking, budget management, and expense control in a manufacturing setting.
