Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated assistant delivery person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting tents, tables, chairs and other items to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as wheeled dollies and carts.
- Communicate effectively with other staff regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Ability to load and unload items safely, with knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
- Previous experience in party rental settings is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
