Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream is looking to grow their Customer Service team! We will be located at 120 Independence Ln, Suite B, Maitland, FL 32751. We are expected to open mid-late May and are looking to hire and start training now!
Job Description:
The Store Lead is the head Leader of the Scoop Shop. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations and front-line management of the store. They will spend the majority of their time scooping alongside their team. They are responsible for all staff members and ensuring the store runs on Kelly’s standards. They hold all the responsibilities of the Shift Leader in addition to placing internal and external orders, inventory control, ensuring shifts are covered, disciplinary actions, training, sales/labor, etc.

- Lead, Manage & Accountability
- Ensuring Top Customer Focus is Exemplified in Shop
- Control and Monitoring of Inventory Use and Storage
- Reporting and Following Up on Store Maintenance and Upkeep
Data and Store Metrics Accountable for:
- Sales/Labor
- Shop Walkthroughs
- Ice Cream Waste
- Spot Checks
This is a full-time position (minimum 32 hours, at least two-weekend shifts). Most of their time consists of scooping with their team (tipped pay) and 1-3 hours of administrative (non-tipped) work each week. Store Leads are required to have nearly full availability and close a minimum of 3 nights per week.
They are expected to answer staff questions, cover shifts, deal with emergencies, etc.
Compensation
- Base pay starting at $16.92 per hour PLUS tips! On average, an additional $5-9 per hour
Requirements:
- 18
- Morning and night availability
- Weekday and weekend availability
- Leadership experience
- Customer service experience (1 Years)
- A willingness to grow and learn as a leader!
