Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents in an assisted living facility
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs of residents
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care
- Follow HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy and confidentiality
- Promote and uphold resident rights and dignity
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred, however no experience is required.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving principles and techniques
- Familiarity with assisted living regulations and procedures
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices if necessary
- Understanding of medication administration protocols and procedures (optional to be trained in medication administering , however not required)
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and recognition of abnormal values
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Shifts Available
- Daylight Saturdays 7am-3pm
- Evenings 3/4pm-8pm and 3/4pm-11pm
- Monday-Sunday weekends will be rotating, after 1 month probationary period has been completed
