Kelly® Engineering has an exciting Chemical Engineering Technician project with a cutting edge company working to decrease global carbon emissions in Germantown, MD (onsite position)

This 3-4 month project offers :
Very flexible hours- 30 hours per week

Chemical Engineering Technician Responsibilities :
Assist in conducting experiments related to carbon capture under the supervision of lead researchers.
Maintaining / troubleshooting lab equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and in proper working condition.
Collect, prepare, and analyze samples for carbon capture experiments
Accurately record data and ensure its integrity. Assist in data analysis and interpretation.
Adhere to lab safety protocols and handle chemicals and equipment safely.
Take the lead in managing the laboratory- ordering materials, ensuring sufficient material quantities are maintained in inventory,
Chemical Engineering Technician Requirements :
Proficiency in using lab equipment and conducting chemical analyses
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor repairs
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
